Talent Identification & Sports Development
Identifying overlooked sporting ability and developing it through coaching, conditioning and mentorship. MMA is our starting point.
Active: 22 MMA fighters recruited and training.
A talent deserves a pathway.
Coaching, equipment and a competitive platform can be out of reach for talented young people facing financial hardship.
What are the program objectives?
- Build discipline, technique and physical conditioning.
- Develop a structured pathway from training to public competition.
- Work towards 60 active fighters by the end of 2027.
How will the program work?
Ongoing coaching is the foundation. The strategy proposes a formal curriculum, quarterly showcases and federation accreditation. Event safety planning includes medical clearance, qualified officials, ringside medical care and insurance; these arrangements require confirmation before competition.
Who is it intended to support?
Aspiring Kenyan athletes who have talent but limited access to coaching, equipment or a sporting platform.
What outcomes are expected?
The plan targets annual placements for at least 10% of athletes into professional contracts, coaching or alternative employment. These are development targets.
A little more clarity
Why start with MMA?
Individual participation, relatively modest facility needs and the discipline of training make MMA a practical starting point.
How is athlete welfare considered?
Our showcase safety plan includes medical clearance, insurance, qualified officials, ringside medical personnel and an ambulance. Final arrangements must be confirmed before competition.
